Forward Ready Housing provides safe, clean, and structured transitional housing for veterans in Houston, Texas. Our mission is to create a residential environment where veterans can regain stability, rebuild their lives, and work toward permanent housing and independent living.
Current Housing Availability
Immediate Openings
We currently have 6 veteran beds available in a two-story, 3-bedroom, 2-bath residence located in Houston, TX 77051.
Future Expansion
In December 2026, we will be expanding our capacity with 6 additional veteran beds in a second one-story, 3-bedroom, 2-bath residence. This expansion is part of our commitment to serving the growing veteran community in Houston.

From Service to Purpose
Forward Ready Housing LLC was founded by Travis Pendergrass, a disabled U.S. Army combat veteran who served in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
After returning home, Travis experienced housing instability and participated in two homeless-veteran housing programs. Those experiences gave him firsthand insight into the challenges veterans face when rebuilding their lives.
Through education, entrepreneurship, and perseverance, Travis rebuilt his own foundation and established Forward Ready Housing to provide other veterans with safe, clean, structured, and dignified transitional housing.
Our mission is rooted in a simple belief: every veteran deserves a place to regain stability, rebuild confidence, and prepare for independent living.

We provide quality transitional residences in Houston and welcome opportunities to discuss housing availability, eligibility, referrals, inspections, and payment arrangements.
